I have been without a computer for the last few days and have changed over to an Apple! I should be very happy, as I love all the other Apple gadgets and have no problem using them. I am, however, finding I am taking a bit of time to adjust when it comes to using the Apple laptop. After doing a number of landscapes, I had a flurry of inspiration on the abstract front.

Was inspired by artist, Paul Birchell's talk and demonstration last week! I have been searching for a while now for a way to successfully meld together a number of mediums I love - not great on canvas or paper, but perspex! So, thank you Paul! As he was talking a number of lightbulbs kept going off in my head! INSPIRED!!
See the first fruits of this labour in my new Mixed Media Gallery.
Check out my new pieces in the Nature Gallery.

I am currently starting a new abstract and am looking forward to large, bold applications of colour!! After finnishing my last piece (birds in a row), it'll be a completely different flow and style - and I like to mix it up!
